Thought Number Thirteen

We don't see things as they actually are. We see things as we actually are.

  1. So it's selfish and onesided? Probably so unless you let God show you otherwise, which would be wise,eh?

  2. Hmmmm, I had a whole study with the teenagers Sunday night about how our worldview colors everything we see, so I've been thinking about this a lot lately.

But, of course I only see things from God's perspective and never from my own selfishness and onesidedness....

    :-)

  3. Well, Dave, only God can judge our heart to see if we are selfish or not....guess we'll pass on that view point. Now worldview is another thing...I'm also convinced that we are biased depending on which religious denomination you are attached to...so what is your worldview?

  4. I was being very sarcastic about only being able to see through God's perspective. Like every Christian, I am a work in progress (I Cor 13:12)

I believe that worldview is biased depending on waaaayyyy more than religious denomination. I think our worldview is biased by just about everything in our lives.
